Freight Text

Freight Text’s default form of capital J is narrow and rests upon the baseline, providing compact spacing within words. For initial usage, a wider alternate J is provided.

Freight Text contains both upper- and lowercase figures.

Freight Text’s uppercase figures are of common width. All uppercase figures align consistently in all weights of Freight Text, Freight Micro, and Freight Sans.

The default en- and em-dashes are sized and spaced for ease of use in text. Full-en and -em versions (for purists, and for setting consecutive dashes) reside in the small capitals fonts.

In addition to standard ligatures for fi and fl, ff, ffi, and ffl are provided.

Historically-accurate upright versions of the parentheses, brackets, and braces are included in Freight Text’s italic fonts.
